Designer vegan bags for every style

Beautiful designer handbags often have one fundamental problem for vegan consumers.  They are almost always made of leather.  The founders of luxury handbag company Angela Roi believed that animals shouldn’t be harmed in the interest of fashion, so they designed a line of fine synthetic leather handbags and totes to give animal-welfare-minded consumers with fashion sense an option that does not sacrifice animals or style.
Named for a 20-something entrepreneur couple, Angela Lee and Roi Lee, the company supports many other causes in addition to animal welfare.  Each of their bags sports a ribbon symbol that is part of their logo along with a colored ribbon tassel that represents a cause, to which they make a donation of $5, or approximately three to five percent, for each handbag they sell.
Their philanthropic Donate by Color mission helps to support organizations that fight cancer and other diseases without using animals in their research, pairing the company’s philosophy of doing good through a business model that gives back with their strong sense of fashion and individual expression.
Besides being an accessory that makes a statement, Angela Roi bags are designed to be practical, functional and comfortable.  Their totes can accommodate a tablet or small laptop while still looking elegant, and their cross-body collection is versatile enough to go to a power meeting or be a weekend purse to carry flips flops, baby’s binky, or even a shopping Chihuahua.
Sustainably made in Korea and Vietnam, the bags are far less expensive than comparable leather bags, costing around $100 to $160.  Current the brand is sold exclusively online at angelaroi.com, though they have opened a popup shop in NY and plan to expand to retail locations in the future.
