Community celebration and fundraiser to be held Saturday, April 22nd inside Los Angeles Coliseum

LOS ANGELES, CA, January 23, 2017 – Registration opens today for the Make-A-Wish® Greater Los Angeles 10th Annual Walk for Wishes, it was announced by Neal Aton, President and CEO, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.

On Saturday, April 22nd, walkers from across Los Angeles County will join wish kids and their families, friends, donors and sponsors to celebrate the thousands of wishes that have been granted during the past ten years, and raise funds to grant more wishes for local children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

This year’s event will be held for the first time inside the Los Angeles Coliseum. Participants will enjoy a variety of special activities, including live music, a photo booth, food trucks, raffle prizes, sports inflatables, special guests, and more.
“This year’s event will be much more than just a walk,” said Aton. “We’ll be coming together as a community to celebrate everything we’ve done over the last 10 years and raise funds for wish-granting in the future. It’s also a great chance to see first-hand how a wish experience can truly change a child’s life. So rally your friends and register early to get into the action right at the start – and stay tuned for more exciting news to come.”
